Sintia's Dominican Salon is dedicated to the loving memory of Sintia Mesa, who was a Northwestern High School and Morgan State Alumni and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In her honor, a yearly contribution based on a percentage of the salon's revenue will be given to the Sintia Mesa Foundation – an annual scholarship to a student matriculating at Morgan State University, and a Mesa family member who desires to attend the university.
